The Vernal Edition

A Study of Surface & Stem

Liana — The Vernal Edition

Liana — The Vernal Edition

Description: The Liana is a study of sun-warmed paths and reaching vines. Hand-block printed with a vibrant interplay of burnt orange and ochre blooms against cool mint foliage, it captures the rhythmic energy of a garden in full transition.

The Materiality: Crafted from heavyweight slub-weave cotton, the fabric offers a rich, tactile grain and a structural presence that standard linens cannot match.

The Craft: Each piece is printed in small batches using traditional heritage techniques. Because no two are identical, your selection is a unique work of art for your living space.

On the Console

A warm, foundational welcome. Draped with intentional overhang, the earthy ochre and orange tones harmonize with brass accents or ceramic lamps to create an inviting, artisanal entryway.

On the Island

An inviting anchor for the shared meal. The heavy slub texture provides a robust, tactile surface that offers a striking organic contrast to smooth marble or white quartz kitchen islands.

On the Sideboard

Grounding a formal arrangement. Its dense floral pattern and sophisticated mint-green accents add a layer of curated warmth to dark wood surfaces or vintage silver serving pieces.

Care Instructions
  • Gentle Hand Wash: To maintain the vibrant clarity of the hand-blocked motifs, we recommend a gentle hand wash in cold water.
  • Mild Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent to protect the color-fastness of the dyes and the softness of the cotton.
  • Avoid Bleach: Never use bleach or harsh oxidizing agents, as these can break down the fibers and dull the print.
  • Dry Flat: Lay your runner flat to dry in a shaded area. Avoiding direct sunlight helps prevent the colors from fading over time.
  • Steam or Iron: If desired, iron on the reverse side while the fabric is slightly damp to restore the crisp, structural grain of the slub weave.
The Designer's Note

This piece bridges the gap between traditional craft and modern minimalism. It is meant to be lived with, touched, and admired.
