The Vernal Edition

A Study of Surface & Stem

Indigofera — The Vernal Edition

Indigofera — The Vernal Edition

Description: The Indigofera is a study of deep shadows and architectural vines. Hand-block printed with a repeating navy botanical motif and framed by a midnight border, it brings a structured serenity to your home’s most essential surfaces.

The Materiality: Crafted from heavyweight slub-weave cotton, the fabric offers a rich, tactile grain and a structural presence that standard linens cannot match.

The Craft: Each piece is printed in small batches using traditional heritage techniques. Because no two are identical, your selection is a unique work of art for your living space.

On the Console

A dramatic entry. Draped flat, the repeating deep blue tones and high-contrast block print create a sophisticated, tailored look that anchors an entryway mirror or lamp.

On the Island

A clean, functional break. The heavy slub texture provides a robust, tactile surface that offers a striking organic contrast to smooth marble or white quartz kitchen islands.

On the Sideboard

Elevating the evening mood. The deep indigo palette provides a modern, graphic frame for dark wood antiques, silver serving pieces, or crisp white ceramic dinnerware.

Care Instructions
  • Gentle Hand Wash: To maintain the vibrant clarity of the hand-blocked motifs, we recommend a gentle hand wash in cold water.
  • Mild Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent to protect the color-fastness of the dyes and the softness of the cotton.
  • Avoid Bleach: Never use bleach or harsh oxidizing agents, as these can break down the fibers and dull the print.
  • Dry Flat: Lay your runner flat to dry in a shaded area. Avoiding direct sunlight helps prevent the colors from fading over time.
  • Steam or Iron: If desired, iron on the reverse side while the fabric is slightly damp to restore the crisp, structural grain of the slub weave.
The Designer's Note

This piece bridges the gap between traditional craft and modern minimalism. It is meant to be lived with, touched, and admired.
